Strange Parts bring psychedelic pop and passion to new split with Ogikubo Station

Philadelphia bedroom psych band Strange Parts recently teamed up on a split release with Ogikubo Station, a project fronted by California songwriter Mike Park (founder of Asian Man Records) and Cincinnati’s Maura Weaver of the band Mixtapes.

Released on This And That Tapes, the project escapes into psychedelic pop with a warm and bright ambiance. The faded vocals and upbeat guitar melodies on both halves of the split sound out of this world, and feelings of romantic innocence bleed through in every track, truly showing how much of a passion project this was for both Strange Parts and Ogikubo Station alike.
