From Queen Latifah to R.E.M. to Questlove from Philly’s The Roots, we love seeing our favorite musical stars collab with the furry creatures inhabiting Sesame Street on PBS.

The latest to pop up where the air is sweet is Foo Fighters frontperson Dave Grohl. Popping up in front of a brick wall and that iconic yellow-and-green street sign, Grohl tells Big Bird and Elmo how “There are friends everywhere, even ones you don’t know.”

To elaborate, Grohl launches into “Here We Go Song,” a jaunty jam packed with power pop riffs (think the Foos, but even more kid-friendly) and lyrics about the faces and places all across the United States. As Grohl sings, with Bird on backup and Elmo on guitar, the three embark on a fast-paced road trip montage around the country.

Watch below, and don’t be ashamed about the massive smile stretching across your face. For more rock stars on Sesame Street, check out this roundup over at Paste.
