After racking up critical acclaim for 2019’s stunning double-album Ghosteen, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds are going on tour this September and October, and their first date of the autumn season happens Wednesday, September 23rd at the Skyline Stage of the Mann Center for the Performing Arts. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 21st at 10 a.m.

Names one of The Key’s 20 albums you shouldn’t overlook in 2019, Ghosteen is a turbulent listen filled with grandeur and emotion. It was the first album Cave wrote in the wake of his son’s passing, and as A.D. Amorosi reflected, “even at death’s doorstep and his son’s hard demise, there is some sort of hope while questions of the soul are at hand.”
