The Sea.Hear.Now Festival will return to the Asbury Park Waterfront to close out the summer season with over 25 beachside performances on September 19 and 20.

Headlined by Pearl Jam and The Avett Brothers, the festival’s lineup also features some XPN favorites including Lord Huron, Patti Smith, Phoebe Bridgers, and Ani DiFranco. You’ll also see some artists with local roots at the festival, including Philly’s own Dr. Dog and American Trappist, and New Jersey bands Jackson Pines and The Happy Fits.

In addition to the music, Sea.Hear.Now includes “immersive art experiences” throughout the festival, as well as surfing competitions and demonstrations.

Sea.Hear.Now also strives to be a leader of the music industry’s green movement, according to the festival’s website: “We are committed to raising awareness about the issues facing our ocean environment, including the global plastic waste crisis and climate change.”
