Kyle Seely, lead guitarist of Philly punk band Sheer Mag, is offering online guitar lessons to players of all skill levels. Proceeds from single lessons will go towards the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund.

In an announcement on the band’s Facebook page, Seely says this:

I started giving guitar lessons online while touring has been out of the picture. It’s been a blast. As I have some free slots opening up in the next few weeks, I would love to offer a first lesson deal in exchange for financial support to the Philadelphia Community Bail Fund (link in bio). Single lessons are 40 USD for an hour. It’s not some masterclass type thing, the lessons are really fun for all skill levels! If you’ve ever wanted to learn some Mag riffs, or improve your playing in general, this is a great chance to get started. I’m located in Australia right now but can likely accommodate all time zones.

One can schedule lessons with Seely by emailing him at [email protected]. After a time is scheduled and payment is processed and confirmed, the lesson can begin. Or, as Seely says, “then we’re ready to rock.”

The Philadelphia Community Bail Fund helps post cash bail for those who cannot afford the costs on their own. Their ultimate goal is to end the use of cash bail in the city of Philadelphia.
