Philly singer-songwriter Molly Lynn White, better known as littlun, released a new ambient EP last week, titled pandemic dream journal.

The album’s title is fairly self-explanatory: the five songs on the EP are a collection of ambient indie pop that are, per littlun’s Bandcamp page, “derived from dreams during the coronavirus pandemic of 2020.”

Littlun utilizes more vocals than many other dream-inspired albums, but layered through so many filters and effects that the actual words are difficult to make out. By doing so, the artist effectively replicates the dreamscape, where familiar details fade away shortly after waking.

pandemic dream journal was released by Good How Are You Records. In a recent Instagram post, the record label said that album proceeds would be donated towards Black and LGBTQIA+ organizations.
