WXPN’s “Artist To Watch” for August is a 22 year old bluesman from Harlem, New York, KING SOLOMON HICKS.
Hicks has been performing live since he was 13 years old, and has taught music at the Children’s Aid Society , is a Harlem Arts Alliance member, supporter of the NYC Jazzmobile and a member of The Blues Foundation in Memphis.His latest album Harlem was released in March. Hicks was scheduled to play the 20th annual NON-COMMvention in May.
