Philly indie rock four-piece Buddie released their terrific tape Diving last month on Crafted Sounds. It’s a mix of fuzzy guitar and punchy hooks in the spirit of LVL Up and Built to Spill, alongside introspective lyrics about humanity’s unsustainable lifestyle; it’s is equal parts thought-provoking and fun.

Tonight, Buddie celebrated the album release with a livestream show and listening party hosted on WXPN’s Facebook page. Join Dan Forrest and Danielle Farley band Buddie as they play a set of acoustic songs from the record, chat with the folks at Urban Creators about the work they’re doing in North Philly, and stream the entire album with illustrated lyrics and more.

Watch the performance in full below, and listen to the album. Buddie recently sat down with The Key’s Sean Fennell for a conversation about the album — read that story here.
