Last month, Malvern’s People’s Light theatre found a way to bring live music to the Philly suburbs by presenting a series of drive-in concerts. Using its parking lot as a makeshift, socially distant venue proved to be a success, and the series will continue into September and October.

The fall series kicks off Sunday, September 20 and seems to be leaning into an autumnal vibe with artists in the folk realm.

Announced so far are singer-songwriter Susan Werner, local roots rock band Stella Ruze, and gothic folk band 49 Burning Condors. See the full lineup below, with one artist TBA.

In order to ensure a safe and fun experience for attendees, tickets are limited, masks are required, and social distancing is enforced. Each vehicle is limited to five people or fewer and receives a parking spot and “Home Space” for setting up chairs. Find more information at peopleslight.org.
