At the top of this year, Philly rockers Mo Lowda and the Humble released their latest album Ready Coat…and then COVID happened, and their tour plans were sidelined before they got off the ground.

But lead singer and songwriter Jordan Caiola has used his pandemic downtime productively, and this Friday will release his first solo record, Only Real When Shared. Working under the name Caiola, the set finds him collaborating with peers and friends on a set of songs that explore subdued and sublime sonic areas, a quieter zone than he’s perhaps used to when dishing out driving hard rock with Mo Lowda.

To celebrate the release, Caiola will perform a livestream set on WXPN’s Facebook Live on Friday, October 2nd, at 5:30 p.m. ET. Watch the performance at the link below, and check out Caiola’s beautiful single “Hydroplane.”
