Rainer Maria’s Caithlin De Marrais to release new solo album What Will You Do Then?

Caithlin De Marrais of Rainer Maria will release her third full length solo album, What Will You Do Then?, early next year. Its lead single, “Diamond Heart,” is out now along with a socially-distanced music video that offers a beacon of hope in a tough year.

According to a press release, the synthy, shoegazey album “sounds like Enya-meets-SZA, if Depeche Mode produced it, but then sung by Caithlin from Rainer Maria,” and draws on De Marrais’ love for all things 90s.

What Will You Do Then? comes out February 12, 2021 via Skeletal Lightning. Pre-order the album via Bandcamp.
