Zeek Burse, Great Time, Eric Bazilian, Devon Gilfillian and more will play Helen Leicht’s 12th annual Home for the Holidays concert
XPN host Helen Leicht is back for her 12th installment of the annual Home For the Holidays concert. Since 2009, Home For the Holidays has showcased a handful of local artists for holiday-themed performances. Although this year’s event will look a little different than years past, local artists have still contributed their home-recorded holiday tunes for the show, including Zeek Burse, Sharon Little and Tim Sonnefeld, Stereo League, Eric Bazilian, Great Time, and Devon Gilfillian.
The first airing of Home For the Holidays will be on XPN on December 22nd at 8 p.m. during the XPN Local Show; this will coincide with a video webcast via NPR Live Sessions that can be watched at XPN.org. XPN host Robert Drake will also play the set on air during his annual holiday show The Night Before with Robert Drake on December 24th at 10 a.m.. It will also air Christmas day at 6 p.m., with live performances from the 2018 and 2019 live holiday concerts thrown into this year’s mix.
