Namarah releases conceptual visual “Doc-Soul Story” for the title track of her album Deia

Singer/songwriter Namarah is not one to shy away from being unconventional, as demonstrated by her 2020 debut album, Deia. The recently-released music video for the title track is no less experimental.

Namarah describes the video as a “doc-soul story.”

’Doc-Soul’ another made up term my Mom and I dreamed up – these visuals are documenting the imaginations, memories and prayers that the soul experiences.

The video, directed by Doc Hero, shows Namarah and dancer Nia Hinds moving gracefully and expressively to the velvety vocals and the percussive instrumentals of “Deia.”
