People’s Light’s drive-in concert series will return this summer. The Malvern venue turned its parking lot into an open-air stage last year to bring audiences live music during the pandemic, and the concept proved a success.

This year’s lineup is bigger and better, with a combination of local favorites like Ali Awan and The Hot Club of Philadelphia and national acts like Jill Sobule and Sunny War. The series runs from June through September with Erin McKeown kicking things off this Friday, June 25. Folk Weekend will also bring Patty Larkin, Amythyst Kiah, The Dirty Grass Players, and more to the outdoor venue over two days in July.

Tickets will be sold by the carload of up to five passengers, and a include parking spot and adjacent “Home Space” for setting up lawn chairs. Food and beverages will also be available from The Farmhouse at People’s Light. Find the full lineup and more information on tickets and guidelines at peopleslight.org.
