Orion Sun is clocking back in for her first Philly show following the release of last year’s stunning album Hold Space For Me. Ahead of her appearance at Firefly Music Festival in Delaware, she will be playing The Foundry of The Fillmore Philly on the autumnal equinox, September 22.

Breezy and balmy, Hold Space For Me is a flood of emotions. Overflowing with gratitude for the people in her life and the experiences that have shaped her, the album glows with love. Singing about Gold, golden hour, and having coffee for dinner, her lyrics are like everyday poetry. Even little realizations like the soft repetition of “it feels so good to know you” seem to take on new importance. The album also sees Majette flex her range as she flits between the sedated beats and smooth R&B of tracks like “Lightning” to the easy flow and A$AP Rocky references on “El Camino.” Still, the whole record revolves around her vocals that sound like sunshine and honey. An absolute powerhouse, they easily outshine everything else.

While fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of Orion Sun, Majette might have them beat for being the most excited. “feeling nervous like its my first day on the job. probably gonna finally cut my hair for this haha make sure my fit is clean and shit like the first day of school lolol jeez we back in it thooo lets gooooooo,” she wrote in an Instagram post
