Firefly Music Festival shares set times, lineup tweaks (Moor Mother out, Pom Pom Squad in)
Firefly festival-goers can now plan their four-day live music experience with official set times announced on Monday. The Dover, DE music festival features national touring bands and some local favorites on five stages starting Thursday September 23rd and ending late Sunday September 26th. Times for each band can be found on Firefly’s website.
Headliners Billie Eilish, The Killers, Tame Impala, and Lizzo each close out a day of the festival on the Firefly stage, the festival’s largest stage. Also performing on the Firefly stage is Phoebe Bridgers, Band of Horses, Orion Sun, and Mt. Joy. The Treehouse Stage is also worth keeping an eye on, as it sees performances this year from Positive Movement Drumline and Deep Sea Diver.
In addition to the schedule, Firefly announced some lineup tweaks; experimental Philly artist Moor Mother and Scottish modern rock singer-songwriter ONR have dropped off the bill, along with Atlas Genius, and Varien. Over a dozen new additions have been made, though, including returning artist Taylor Bennett and buzzing NY indie band Pom Pom Squad; check the full list of additions and subtractions here.
Passes for the festival are still available, and can be purchased for single days or for the whole weekend. Ticket information can be found at XPN’s Concert Calendar. Firefly takes place at Dover International Speedway, about a 2-hour drive from the greater Philadelphia area. For directions and parking information, head to Firefly Festival’s website.
