The War on Drugs will release their fifth album, I Don’t Live Here Anymore, on October 29th via Atlantic Records, and today we got another taste of the album via the music video for its title track.

Compared to the slow burn balladry of “Living Proof,” the soaring “I Don’t Live Here Anymore” races to big beats and anthemic licks, and backing vocals by Lucius, who harmonize with frontperson Adam Granduciel on the refrain: “We’re all just walkin’ through this darkness on our own.”

The music video for “I Don’t Live Here Anymore” was filmed by Emmett Malloy around Los Angeles, and follows the band from city rooftops to country farmhouses, paying homage to classic music videos of the rock era.
