It’ll be a terrific double-bill of singer-songwriters who made their name in the aughts when Iron & Wine and Andrew Bird hit the road together in 2022.

Both I&W’s Sam Beam and Bird reshaped what “indie” could mean by releasing albums filled with haunting indie-folk and lush, orchestral pop. This will be their first time joining forces, and according to Bird, 90% of the tour — which begins in June in Phoenix — takes place in outdoor venues. That includes Bethlehem’s gorgeous SteelStacks, where the artists will perform on July 31st, 2022.

Tickets are on sale Friday, December 17th at 10 a.m., with various pre-sales earlier in the week; more information can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar.
