Strand of Oaks’ re-scheduled ‘In Heaven’ tour comes to Union Transfer in June
To date, the only full-band show Strand of Oaks has played since the rollout began on their seventh album Eraserland was a rousing set at XPoNential Music Festival in 2021. That changes this spring when Oaks re-launches their tour in support of the record, which was postponed last fall due to the lingering effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
As part of the run of May and June dates, Strand of Oaks will return to Union Transfer in Philadelphia on Friday, June 17th; Denver indie four-piece The Still Tide opens the show.
“Getting to share a room with my incredible band and the greatest community of fans in the world is an unfathomable joy!” writes Oaks frontperson Tim Showalter on Facebook. “I humbly ask after this long period without shows that you buy tickets in advance and help spread the word. I couldn’t live this awesome life without you all and your support means everything.”
Tickets and more information on the show can be found at the XPN Concert Calendar. Below, watch Oaks’ XPNFest set from last year, and check out the tour flyer.
