Today, on the 50th anniversary of David Bowie’s iconic The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, Parlophone Records released an unheard recorded version of “Starman.” The 1972 track was recorded for Top of the Pops–our #TBTXPN theme two weeks ago–and remixed just this year.

“Starman (Top Of The Pops Version – 2022 Mix)” will be followed by even more unearthed Bowie art and memorabilia this year, including a full reissure of The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders From Mars, replica promotional poster, and the first documentary about the artist sanctioned by his estate. The doc, which debuts in theaters this September, follows five decades of Bowie archives, including journals and personal footage.

Start reliving Bowie’s legacy by listening to “Starman (Top Of The Pops Version – 2022 Mix)” below.
