The long-awaited ninth studio album from Philly’s Alex G is almost here. “Miracle” is the fourth and final single ahead of the September 23rd release of God Save the Animals is out now.
“Miracle” is earnest and optimistic, and features poignant strings by Molly Germer. “Beautiful sunsets on lost and lonely days,” sings Alex G as he brings God Save the Animals to a close on its next-to-last song. The record’s fourteenth and final song, therefore, must either be slower and more precious, or completely distorted and off the rails. Just an educated guess.
Alex G caps his fall tour in support of God Save the Animals with three nights at Union Transfer on November 18, 19, and 20. The first two dates are SOLD OUT, but tickets are available for the 20th at the WXPN Concerts and Events page.
