Caroline Rose adds their name to the list of anticipated new albums this year with the announcement of The Art of Forgetting out on March 24th via New West Records.
The record’s first single “Love / Lover / Friend” sets a new tone for the artist, who fans recognize for their electronic beats and cheery if not cheeky disposition. You might have to check the song twice to confirm this emo symphony is Caroline Rose. Their new single “Miami” meets us in the middle, while still challenging expectations of who Rose is as a musician, and what they want to present.
“Every time I make an album,” says Caroline Rose in a press statement, “I’ll come out of it learning a lot about myself. Now I look back and see the healing of a wound. I feel like a new version of myself. I think one for the better.”
