Joyful news for fans of Dave Matthews Band this afternoon; the long-running roots rock ramblers will release their 10th studio album, Walk Around The Moon, on May 19th via ATO Records. Recorded with producer Rob Evans during the pandemic lockdown of 2020 and 2021, the band calls it ” a reflection on the current times as it is an urge to find common ground.”

Leading the charge from the record is “Madman’s Eyes,” possibly the most revved-up we’ve heard Dave since the “Don’t Drink The Water” era; when the chorus hits, the song might be mistaken for hard rock from Maneskin or Motley Crue (seriously).

Take a listen below, and check out the band’s 2023 tour dates. Because it wouldn’t be summer without a DMB doubleheader on the Camden waterfront, they’ll be playing the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion on July 21st and July 22nd, and more information on those shows can be found at the WXPN Concerts and Events page.
