London R&B trio FLO will make their Philly debut at The Foundry in April

Truly it is a great time for fans of poppy and nostalgic R&B. If you were part of the crowd that packed World Cafe Live’s Lounge stage on Monday night for a stellar Say She She show, the next concert to put on your radar is the Philadelphia debut from FLO, a London three-piece following in the footsteps of TLC, Destiny’s Child, and more. They’ll be playing Sunday, April 16th at The Foundry of The Fillmore Philadelphia, and tickets go on sale Friday, February 3rd.

The band debuted with The Lead last summer, propelled by its earworm single “Cardboard Box.” This January, they were named winners of The BRITs Rising Star award, a distinction previously held by Adele, Florence + The Machine, Sam Smith and others. The run of North American tour dates is their first visit to the states, and it combines cub gigs with festival appearances.
