On the heels of her stellar new album Desire, I Want To Turn Into You, synthpop star Caroline Polachek heads out on a U.S. tour next week, beginning here in Philadelphia when WXPN Welcomes her to Franklin Music Hall.

To ramp up excitement for her live show, Polachek introduces her band — Maya Laner, Matthew Horton, and Russell Holzman — in the music video for “Smoke,” where they join her in a desolate dreamworld filled with red skies and volcanic imagery. The video was directed by Polachek’s partner, artist Matt Copson, and you can watch it below.

For tickets and more information on the Franklin Music Hall concert on Friday, April 14th, head to WXPN’s Concerts and Events page.
