As our series of Featured Artist Throwback Thursdays rolls on this summer, we turn our sights to one of the defining voices of the late 70s and early 80s new wave movement, a band that bridged London, England and Akron, Ohio: Pretenders.
Every hour, from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., will begin with a block or two of songs from Chrissie Hynde and Co.: the hits, the deep tracks, and more. At 1 p.m. Mike Vasilikos will play an album side from 1984’s Learning To Crawl album. And in the 6:00 hour, Dan Reed will play an album side from the band’s 1979 self-titled debut.
