Munya stars in a Free At Noon road show at Ardmore Music Hall

A classically-trained pianist hailing from Montreal, Munya — aka singer-songwriter Josie Boivin — uses her training to craft compelling pop-rock, on display in today’s Free At Noon performance. Her set mixed up music from her 2023 sophomore album Jardin (including her chill pop cover of New Order’s “Bizarre Love Triangle”) with cuts from 2021’s Voyage To Mars (“Cocoa Beach”) and won over the midday crowd at Ardmore Music Hall, which played host to this week’s on-the-road edition of Free At Noon.
