With an acclaimed recent album in last year’s Anarchist Gospel, Sunny War is on the road this spring, presenting her fusion of punk, blues, and folk to fans in a gripping solo acoustic form. Joining her is Brooklyn singer-songwriter Brian Dunne, who leans into the Gaslight Anthem / Menzingers school of rousing rootsy punk. Both artists stopped through Philly on Thursday night for a show at MilkBoy in Center City; check out photos of the show below care of photographer Abigail Biddinger.
