If you still can’t get enough of last year’s legendary collaboration between Björk and ROSALÍA, a thumping new “Oral” remix from Olaf Dreijer dropped this Wednesday. Known for his work with his sibling Karin Dreijer (aka Fever Ray) as Swedish electronic duo The Knife, Dreijer’s remix is a hypnotic work of EDM alchemy, turning a piece of orchestral art-pop into a bass-heavy banger. In the tradition of old-school trance tracks, the remix kicks off with a sped-up isolated vocal, and when the drums come in, they refuse to let up. The next five minutes are a joyous blitz of fat, squelching synths and mantra-like vocal samples. Turning a melancholy charity single into something for the dance floor is a bold move, but Dreijer pulls it off effortlessly.

The single comes a month ahead of a Björk’s DJ gig at Under the K Bridge Park, an open space under the Kosciuszko Bridge in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. You can also expect DJ sets from Eartheater, Sega Bodega, and Shygirl, as well as performances from Jlin (with whom Björk collaborated back in March) and Mun Sing (aka Harry Wright of Giant Swan). If you thought it was too late to see Björk DJing at a bridge rave, now’s your chance; tickets go on sale Friday, April 12th at 10am. Listen to Dreijer’s “Oral” remix below.
