Philly’s Break Free Fest is a multi-day showcase of hardcore punk, and the artists (and fans) who in the past have been marginalized in the scene. With this past weekend’s shows under its belt, the event has now been running for six years, centering and celebrating Black and Brown voices in the DIY punk community.

The festival, which took place at The Foto Club in Harrowgate, brought together two days of music: Ragana, Eteraz, Winter Wolf, MAAFA, Askeados, SOJI, and Gooch on day one, and Pure Terror, Stress Positions, No Model, Sour Spirit, Pilau, Keefchamber, and Windchimes on day two.
