Storytelling is at the heart of The Felice Brothers. For nearly two decades, Ian and James Felice have painted kaleidoscopic tales of woe and whimsy in equal measure.
Their latest album, Valley of Abandoned Songs, was recorded in a 19th century church. It was a fitting backdrop for this collection of Americana and folk songs, since these were previously recorded tracks the band couldn’t part with.
Today, we’ve got a mini-concert with The Felice Brothers at the Bowery Ballroom in New York City, accompanied by bandmates Jesske Hume and Will Lawrence. Enjoy.
