If haven’t bought tickets to this year’s XPoNential Music Festival, consider this your sign: it’s going to be a weekend you don’t want to miss. WXPN’s beloved three-day festival is just two weeks away, September 20th to the 22nd, bringing a lineup that’s got something for every XPN fan. With 23 performers across two stages, tucked along the Delaware River in Camden, NJ, this year’s Fest features rising stars, XPN favorites, and iconic legends—outdoors, up close, and playing for you.
Whether you’re a fan of indie rock, Americana, singer-songwriters, R&B, blues, or a little bit of everything, we’ve got you covered. Friday night sets the stage with local rockers Velvet Rouge, Mississippi bluesman Cedric Burnside, and the triumphant return of The Walkmen, back on tour after a nearly decade-long hiatus. The energy only ramps up from there on Saturday with roots rockers Greensky Bluegrass, the ever-magnetic Rosanne Cash, and on Sunday, alt-country star Jade Bird and jam-folk heroes Trampled By Turtles.
And Philly’s own Khalil Amaru, winner of the WXPN 24-Hour Song Challenge, will play his winning track “Dear June” and debut his new EP on Saturday afternoon. This is a moment you’ll want to say you were there for.
More than a Music Fest
The festival grounds will be dotted with local venders and incredible food trucks (Federal Donuts’ food truck will be serving the XPNFest Blueberry Moon Donut, official festival donut), local craft beers (shout out to Dogfish Head), the always fun Kids Corner area for families—all backed by the iconic riverfront view of the Philly skyline. WXPN members get special perks like complimentary non-alcoholic beverages and artist meet-and-greets. Plus, you’ll be among the first to hear about WXPN’s end-of-year countdown theme.
With set times now announced and the excitement building, don’t be the one scrolling through social media wishing you were here. Get your tickets now, and we’ll see you on the riverfront.
