Making their return to the late night television stage, Japanese Breakfast played The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon last night, delivering a stirring full band rendition of “Orlando In Love,” the first new single from the band’s fourth LP, For Melancholy Brunettes (& Sad Women).
The core six-piece band of frontperson Michelle Zauner, drummer Craig Hendrix, guitarist Peter Bradley, bassist Deven Craige, keyboardist Macie Stewart, and sax player Adam Schatz was backed by a string quartet for this appearance, and you can watch them below.
Japanese Breakfast’s world tour kicks off April 12th at Coachella; WXPN Welcomes them to The Met Philly on May 15th and 16th. Tickets and information on the Philly show can be found at the WXPN Concert Calendar, full tour dates can be found here.
