For the past three years, Philly-rooted singer-songwriter Dave Hause has made a trip home every spring to curated a festival in his old stomping grounds of Philadelphia’s Manayunk Neighborhood. This year’s Sing Us Home Festival, set for the first weekend in May, features The Bouncing Souls, Frank Turner, Hause himself, and a whole lot more, and today’s Free At Noon crowd got a preview of the festivities.

The show took place at Ardmore Music Hall, and got under way with an acoustic performance by Tim Hause, Dave’s brother and a co-organizer of Sing Us Home, who played an acoustic set of songs showcasing his recent album Pre-Existing Conditions, backed by Tyler Asay of The Tisburys. This was followed by a full-band performance from indie rock four-piece Speedy Ortiz, playing a rousing set of songs from 2023’s Rabbit Rabbit as well as their back catalog.

Both Tim Hause and Speedy Ortiz will be on the lineup of Sing Us Home, along with Buzz Zeemer, Lullanas, Black Guy Fawkes, AAJ and more. Tickets and more information on the festival, which happens May 2nd through May 4th, can be found here. Check out photos from today’s Free At Noon concert below.
