PRESS PLAY: New Albums out April 25th

We’re already at the end of another month of album releases, and that’s no foolin’. Recent Free at Noon guests Sunflower Bean slather their melodic pop with overdriven sludge on their blistering fourth album, Mortal Primetime. Showcasing new songs with live favorites, Connecticut combo Goose’s Everything Must Go delivers a bounty of adventurous rock. Gigi Perez expands on her breakout hit “Sailor Song” with more anthems about love and loss on her full-length debut, At the Beach, In Every Life. On Dream into It, his first new LP in over a decade, punk lifer (and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction contender) Billy Idol shares the spotlight with Joan Jett, Avril Lavigne, and more.

Jensen McRae offers musings on her own experience as a rising songwriter and performer on her second album, I Don’t Know How But They Found Me!. Oklahoma’s BRONCHO douse the rhythms of 2018’s Bad Behavior with a heap of atmosphere for their playful fifth full-length, Natural Pleasure. Nigerian-born, North Carolina-based Uwade previously collaborated with Fleet Foxes and toured with Sylvan Esso; her solo debut, Florilegium, is a richly crafted set of billowing R&B. A benefit for the celebrated Bridge School, Heart of Gold: The Songs of Neil Young Vol. 1 presents new takes on timeless standards by Brandi Carlile, Mumford and Sons, Courtney Barnett, and more.
