Seattle soul-funk keyboardist Brittany Davis winds an improvisational trio in a high-octane fury on Black Thunder.
New York duo Buscabulla’s Se Amaba Así is a sly and slinky sophomore album that explores the members’ personal and professional relationship. On Singapore Dreaming, their fifth album, Subsonic Eye fuse shoegaze crunch with shimmering jangle on songs that yearn for a life without societal pressures and expectations. Taking on the moniker and persona of Mister Romantic, songwriter/comedian John C. Reilly croons and swoons the Great American Songbook on What’s Not to Love?.
