Position Duration:
Fall: August – December 2025
Winter/Spring: January – May 2026
Hours: 10-15 hours/week

Duties:
Assist the Engineering department in supporting computer systems for desktops, Digital Audio Workstations (ProTools), video production, and audio recording/playback systems. Perform system backups, troubleshooting, software installations, and upgrades. Assist the Engineering team with remote broadcast setups, hardware troubleshooting, video production, etc.

Qualifications: Candidate must be familiar with commonly used computer applications, including Windows 10/11, Microsoft O365, macOS, and anti-virus/anti-malware software applications. Candidate must be able to perform basic computer hardware repair and troubleshooting. Candidate must thrive in a fast-paced environment and have the stamina to learn as situations evolve. Experience with audio and video recording and editing equipment is a plus!

Goals:
The goals of this internship are for the students to come away with a basic understanding of hands-on radio/video production and engineering duties, advance their troubleshooting skills, and have a firm grasp of the responsibilities of today’s broadcast engineers.
