Acadiana Music Showcase: Malentina

Welcome to our latest installment of our Acadiana Music Showcase, produced by our friends at KRVS in Lafayette, La.

Today, you’ll hear from an artist who is emblematic of the kind of diversity that blossoms in Louisiana.

Born in Puerto Rico, Malentina brings that musical background into her work, creating what feels like an island-inspired, Southern Louisiana-grounded cabaret show.

Malentina has performed at many major Louisiana music festivals and right now, she’s on tour back in Puerto Rico, her first time performing in her birthplace.
