In what could be the most on-brand thing to happen on Halloween, Florence + the Machine materialize with their sinister sixth album, Everybody Scream. Halloween birthday boy Robert Pollard scatters hooks like Skittles on Guided by Voice’s latest sweet-and-sour dispatch, Thick Rich and Delicious.
Returning to the Welsh studio where they recorded their seminal 1997 LP Tellin’ Stories, Charlatans UK recruited Stephen Street and Dev Hynes to produce their 14th studio album, We are Love. Zac Little resurrects his expansive folk-rock project Saintseneca for High Wallow & Supermoon Songs, a sprawling full-length orbited by two satellite appendices.
