PRESS PLAY: New Albums out December 5th
Cozy up with the first new albums of December…
As the year winds down, you may be tempted to look ahead to the new albums due out in early 2026. But don’t overlook these late-breaking releases!
A recent discovery for those who attended Geese’s sold-out tour, Irish singer Dove Ellis makes his showstopping debut with the haunting Blizzard. Shape-shifting Parisian Melody Prochet gives her long-running project, Melody’s Echo Chamber, a soulful revamp on Unclouded. Songwriter/actor Ronnie D’Addario has led an eclectic, decades-long career; his well-earned Written By is a collaborative effort with his sons, Brian and Michael D’Addario of The Lemon Twigs.
Anna Lotterud’s fourth collection of electronic pop as Anna of the North, Girl in a Bottle, is the opening half of a pair of albums examining the recyclable nature of relationships in the modern world. On his solo debut, There is Nothing in the Dark Which Isn’t There in the Light, Editors singer Tom Smith strips back his band’s signature driving new wave for arrangements that leave space for his distinctive and versatile voice. Denver-based, Boston-rooted funk ensemble Lettuce serves up course after course of playful grooves on Cook.
