When Aoife O’Donovan, Sara Watkins and Sarah Jarosz reconnected in 2021, the bluegrass supergroup wasn’t intending to make a new album.
But, the songs just started flowing out of the trio, who perform as I’m With Her. Their early writing sessions yielded drafts of songs like “Sisters of the Night Watch.”
Today, I’m With Her joins us for a stellar performance of songs from their latest album, Wild and Clear and Blue. Plus, Aoife O’Donovan, Sara Watkins and Sarah Jarosz talk with @rahrahraina about their chemistry and why camaraderie and folk music go hand in hand.
