KIRBY joins host Raina Douris

With her new album, Miss Black America, singer songwriter KIRBY finds inspiration in the strength of her ancestors and her roots in Mississippi. It’s a powerful album from an artist who has found her own authentic voice after writing hit songs for other people, including one for Rihanna and Paul McCartney. On the World Cafe, KIRBY tells her story and performs live.
