Steve Albini, Martin Atkins join hosts Raina Douris and Stephen Kallao
Steve Albini has been an in-demand audio engineer since his early days in Chicago’s underground punk scene. Coming up on World Cafe, the “Sense of Place: Chicago” series continues with a tour of Albini’s famed Electrical Audio studio – We’ll get an idea of what it might be like to work with the guy who’s engineered tracks for Nirvana and Iggy Pop. Then, it’s a visit to a new Chicago museum dedicated to post-punk and industrial music, created and curated by drummer Martin Atkins.
