Bootsy Collins joins host Raina Douris

Funk legend Bootsy Collins is back with a new album, called The Power of the One. That title comes from a simple, but powerful, musical trick he learned from James Brown – We’ll find out today what “the One” is all about, and Bootsy shares stories from his long and funky career, including his time playing in James Brown’s backing band and stepping out in front when he worked with George Clinton in Parliament Funkadelic. Plus, we’ll hear some live recordings from Bootsy’s personal archives.
