UK post-punk band Shame recently released their fourth album, Cutthroat, and on the World Cafe, Shame frontman Charlie Steen talks about music as an escape – and about how their songwriting has evolved since their early days when the band formed over a scrappy Brixton pub. Shame also performs songs from their new album live.
