Encore: Jeff “Skunk” Baxter joins host Stephen Kallao

Jeff “Skunk” Baxter has played guitar on some iconic songs, including “Nine to Five” from Dolly Parton and Donna Summer’s “Hot Stuff” along with playing in Steely Dan and The Doobie Brothers. He’s never recorded a solo album, until now. “Skunk” joins World Cafe to talk about making Speed of Heat, and how being curious about the physical fundamentals of music led to a second career studying ballistic missile defense.
