Sally Baby’s Silver Dollars joins Raina Douris

Musician and songwriter Sal Geloso moved to New Orleans without a plan, just a desire to escape and figure things out. On the World Cafe, Sal talks about finding a community of like-minded musicians and starting his band Sally Baby’s Silver Dollars. Sal also talks about falling in love with New Orleans, and about the band getting their big break after entering NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Contest.
