John Morrison joins host Raina Douris

In 1971, in the afterglow of the 60’s counterculture movement and major legal Civil Rights gains, Aretha Franklin performed three nights at the Fillmore West concert hall in San Francisco. And on Aretha Live at Fillmore West, World Cafe correspondent John Morrison says you are hearing her capture the energy of that moment in time. On the Culture Corner on World Cafe, John talks about that album as it turns 55 years old.
