Joshua Ray Walker joins host Raina Douris

Joshua Ray Walker wrote the title track to his new album, Ain’t Dead Yet, after getting a devastating update: his cancer had been restaged to Stage 4 and had spread to his lungs. On the World Cafe, Joshua shares how songwriting was one way of dealing with his seemingly imminent mortality. And he talks about how things ended up turning around in a very positive way.

Listen to the session here.
