Romy joins host Stephen Kallao

Romy of The XX was inspired by the dance music scene of the late 90s and early 2000s, leading to her solo debut Mid-Air. Mid-Air is a love letter to the queer clubs where Romy found community and connection. She joins me to talk about how Mid-Air is really a “singer-songwriter album” within the dance music world. Plus, she shares live performances.
